Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in digital merchandising, e‑commerce, or related field.
• Proven track record developing merchandising strategies that improve learner engagement, conversion, retention, and revenue.
• Strong experimentation mindset with design and interpretation of A/B tests, translating insights into scalable improvements.
• Experience partnering with product, engineering, marketing, analytics, and data science.
• Proficiency with digital analytics and merchandising platforms such as Amplitude, Tableau, Optimizely, Adobe Analytics, Contentful.

Responsibilities

• Lead merchandising initiatives across homepage, navigation, browse, search, course pages, hubs, and recommendation modules.
• Collaborate with Category Managers to amplify launches and campaigns through content placement.
• Partner with Product and Engineering to define and enhance merchandising capabilities and tools.
• Design, execute, and analyze merchandising experiments to validate hypotheses and optimize outcomes.
• Analyze learner behavior and marketplace trends to identify growth opportunities.
• Develop frameworks balancing learner needs, commercial priorities, editorial curation, and algorithms.
• Identify cross-sell/upsell opportunities across the combined Coursera+Udemy portfolio.
• Establish merchandising best practices and scalable operating models.
