Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking an MEP Superintendent II for a large project in Phoenix, AZ. You will lead field teams, coordinate mechanical and electrical trades, and ensure milestones are met safely and to code.

The role requires strong supervisory experience in commercial construction, familiarity with shop drawings and on-site problem solving, and a commitment to ESOP culture and quality workmanship. This is a full-time, on-site leadership position with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of commercial construction field experience, including direct supervisory and MEP experience.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Begins work on project early as drawings are submitted for conceptual estimating and ensures constructability and code compliance.
• Attends meetings with owners, architects and subcontractors to coordinate and sequence work.
• Reviews shop drawings for accuracy and coordinates with subs to minimize design errors.
• Provides technical guidance to resolve day-to-day construction problems and supports change orders.
