Upgrade Resources in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Project Manager / Senior Project Manager to lead or coordinate MEP construction projects on-site. The role involves developing assignments, timelines, and coordinating with the project team, site, and management to ensure on-time delivery and budget adherence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or related engineering field preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of project management experience; candidates with 7+ years of proven experience leading projects and programs with a commercial mechanical subcontractor will be considered for the Senior Project Manager level.
• Demonstrated success leading projects and programs on schedule and within budget.

Responsabilités

• Drive the successful completion of high-quality projects within specified timelines and budgets; proactively manage scope changes, review contracts, and negotiate to ensure project success.
• Review reports to determine project status and required actions; provide periodic status and cost/budget analysis.
• Facilitate project meetings to align with customer expectations and company standards; lead pre-job planning sessions for clear requirements.
• Establish and execute subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and budgets.
• Assemble and estimate projects; review final estimates and load numbers into the project cost system.
• Communicate all project issues to management in a timely manner.
• Develop and maintain project schedules; ensure alignment with master schedule and resolve conflicts.
• Prepare and submit monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow; manage financial aspects of the contract.
• Manage conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades, or Partners; at senior level, lead and mentor other PMs.
• Identify and develop policies and procedures for continuous improvement.
• Visit job sites or onsite offices, perform inspections, and resolve project/contract issues.
