Job summary

Austin Commercial is seeking an experienced MEP Superintendent with an electrical background for our Houston, TX division. The role focuses on leading field teams, coordinating mechanical, electrical, and plumbing trades, and ensuring safety and quality on large commercial projects.

You will interface with owners, architects, and subcontractors, review drawings, manage shop drawings, and help maintain project schedules and budgets. This position offers ownership culture and strong career growth.

Qualifications

• B.S. in construction management/science, engineering, or relevant discipline.
• 8+ years of commercial construction field experience, including direct supervisory and MEP experience.
• OSHA 30-Hour Construction Industry Outreach Training required (may obtain within first year)

Responsibilities

• Plans project scope, resources, and schedule with foremen.
• Reviews shop drawings and coordinates with subs.
• Interfaces with owners, architects, and subcontractors in meetings.
• Ensures compliance with safety, codes, and quality standards.
• Supports change orders and project close-out activities.
