McCarthy Building Companies, Inc. in Arizona seeks a skilled MEP Superintendent to lead coordination of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing scopes on Southwest projects. The role partners with superintendents, PMs and field staff to ensure seamless MEP delivery and commissioning.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in MEP supervision, a track record on projects >$20M, and strong knowledge of codes and MEP systems. Deg in CM or Eng preferred; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years experience in Construction/MEP Supervision.
• Proven track record as PM or Superintendent on large projects above $20M (mech/electrical).
• Thorough knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems.
• Familiarity with building, mechanical, electrical and plumbing codes.

Responsibilities

• Manage and lead MEP subcontractors throughout the project.
• Develop detailed CPM schedules for all MEP activities and a value schedule for billing.
• Coordinate activities, schedule, procurement and logistics with the superintendent and field staff.
• Review and approve materials and monitor installation, startup and commissioning.
• Prepare progress reports for project managers and owners at weekly meetings.
• Review contract documents and suggest improvements.
• Supervise, develop and mentor MEP Project Engineers.
• Oversee submittals and shop drawing coordination.
