Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented MEP Superintendent to oversee the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing aspects of our commercial projects, with the Richmond division and a current site in Louisa, VA.

You will ensure installations meet plans, codes, and safety standards, supervise crews and foremen, coordinate with engineers, estimators, and inspectors, and drive projects to on-time, on-budget completion.

Qualifications

• 7+ years experience as a superintendent or equivalent in commercial construction.
• Proven ability to supervise large crews (20+).
• Experience with man-hour and job-cost reporting.
• Strong cost control, forecasting, and goal setting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication across teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ground-up MEP coordination on commercial projects.
• Supervise foremen and crews, ensuring safety and quality.
• Coordinate with engineering, estimating, and project teams.
• Monitor production, schedules, and on-site resources.
• Maintain client relationships and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, specs, and safety programs.
• Prepare and review daily production reports and look-ahead planning.
