Job summary

Atlantic Constructors is seeking a Mechanical Superintendent for commercial construction projects in the Richmond area. You will supervise field crews, coordinate with subcontractors and craft workers, and ensure drawings, specifications, and schedules are followed to maintain quality and client satisfaction.

This role requires hands-on supervision, reading design drawings, and coordinating across engineering, estimating, and project teams; travel to multiple job sites is possible; strong

Qualifications

• 10 years' experience in a heavy mechanical construction environment as Superintendent.
• Prior military experience.
• HS diploma or GED equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervises field crew, subcontractor and craft activities, including determining construction methods and scheduling.
• Coordinates work of different crafts, company departments and contractors.
• Performs a wide range of skilled construction tasks.
• Liaises with engineering, estimating, and project teams to ensure conformance with drawings and schedules.
• Maintains safety, quality, and documentation; reports issues and takes corrective action.
