Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group (VMG) is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. The role requires strong leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The PM will coordinate with PM, field ops, VDC, engineering, and procurement teams, ensuring alignment with project goals and financial performance across multiple

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction or with a General Contractor.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP systems.
• Experience managing projects from preconstruction through closeout.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects from preconstruction through final turnover and closeout.
• Develop budgets, schedules, and procurement plans; monitor costs and performance.
• Coordinate activities across PM, field ops, VDC, Engineering, and Procurement.
• Maintain project milestones, contractual requirements, and risk management.
• Lead client meetings and manage relationships with owners, GC, and vendors.
• Ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery across multiple projects.
