Job summary

Gilbane Building is seeking an MEP Estimating Manager to lead the estimating process for multiple projects or a single large complex project, coordinating with design, operations, and procurement to ensure accurate cost planning and timely delivery.

You will mentor a team of estimators, review drawings for scope narratives, and develop concept and final pricing across multi-disciplinary scopes, including design-build and CM at Risk methods.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 9-15+ years of progressive commercial MEP estimating and preconstruction experience.
• Experience leading MEP estimating efforts on large-scale, complex projects.
• Equivalent combinations of education, training, and experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Leads the MEP estimating process for multiple concurrent projects through design.
• Review drawings to develop scope narratives and cost deliverables.
• Coordinate with operations, accounting, and scheduling on deliverables.
• Mentor and supervise a team of estimators and manage workload.
• Collaborate with owners, design teams, and trade partners on pricing strategies.
