Job summary

State Employees' Credit Union is seeking an Associate Member Services Representative to support branch operations with a focus on member service and accurate processing of transactions.

As an entry-level MSR, you will learn cash handling, account origination and maintenance while adhering to SECU policies and security requirements, under supervision, with opportunities for training and career growth in a cooperative environment.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Must possess an aptitude for meeting people and developing member confidence, respect, and trust in the Credit Union.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must have good problem-solving skills.
• Must complete the Credit Union’s Core Module Program within 12 months of hire date as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Attend training and complete core modules after E&E.
• Provide exemplary member service by responding to inquiries in person and by phone.
• Handle routine branch duties including cash box management and transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and process transfers and currency handling as needed.
• Learn SECU policies, security measures and regulatory requirements.
• Greet and assist members courteously across service channels (in-person, phone, digital).
• Operate drive-through windows when needed and support other departments.
