Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, Finance, Business, Computer Science or other quantitative analysis discipline
• ~6 years relevant, progressive experience in the area of specialization
• ~5-7 years' experience in underwriting of self-funded and converting fully insured prospects to self-funding

Responsibilities

• Renew accounts and write new business at profitable levels to achieve targets
• Calculate rates and interpret pricing policy
• Identify questionable claim patterns and develop recommendations
• Apply corporate risk management policies to pricing
• Adapt pricing to client-specific situations
• Analyze member risk and coordinate with internal departments
• Support internal initiatives like fraud detection and product development
• Complete renewals and quotes with timeliness
