Job summary

GC LabTech, Inc. is seeking an experienced Medical Technologist to join our team in a high-volume laboratory that exclusively processes source plasma donations. The role covers daily testing per SOPs, LIS documentation, and compliance with CFR and GC LabTech policies.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in medical tech or related life sciences, has at least 5 years of lab experience, is fluent in English, and can work flexible schedules. U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in medical technology, biology, or related life sciences.
• Minimum 5 years of related laboratory experience.
• Fluently speak, read, and write English.
• Applicant must be authorized to work in the U.S.; no H-1B visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Receive samples from clients and test per SOP; verify results in LIS.
• Monitor, evaluate, and act on quality control data; identify trends and implement corrective actions.
• Assist in validation of new laboratory tests and instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment; troubleshoot, document, and initiate corrective actions.
• Follow and enforce all laboratory safety guidelines.
• Travel to attend instrument training or continuing education as required.
• Assist with receipt and management of supplies and reagents; prepare and test reagents.
• Document CFR and other regulatory requirements; maintain detailed records.
• Contribute to development or revision of laboratory SOPs.
• Schedule and perform routine maintenance to minimize workflow impact.
• Support the organization’s mission, values, and high standards.
• Other duties as assigned.
