Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking a skilled Coding Compliance and Education specialist to support revenue cycle auditing and provider education. You will audit provider documentation, identify ICD-10 and CPT coding opportunities, and develop training programs across clinical staff.

Qualifications

• Eight years' experience in physician/provider coding, auditing and education.
• Two years' experience with EPIC EMR.
• Coding certification (CCS/RHIA/RHIT) preferred or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Audits coding for ICD-10 and CPT accuracy to ensure compliant reporting and optimal reimbursement.
• Develops and delivers education/training on coding and documentation for providers.
• Creates audit programs and education platforms to identify issues and drive improvements.
• Collaborates with EPIC hosting organization to implement automated solutions.
• Coordinates with cross-functional teams to align clinical ops with billing practices.
