Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking an experienced professional to support revenue cycle auditing and education. You will audit coding, educate providers, and develop training platforms to improve documentation and billing accuracy.

Responsibilities include identifying CPT/ICD-10 usage, driving documentation strategies, and collaborating with EPIC hosting to implement automated solutions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years’ experience in physician/provider coding, auditing and education.
• Two years’ experience with EPIC EMR.
• Coding certification (CCS, RHIA, RHIT) or applicable experience preferred.
• Ability to educate and mentor providers across clinical operations.

Responsibilities

• Audit and review coding to determine ICD-10 and CPT codes for provider services.
• Identify appropriate modifiers and documentation improvements for compliant billing.
• Develop and implement education and training for providers and staff.
• Create an audit program and ongoing education platform by provider.
• Collaborate with EPIC hosting and third-party vendors to optimize processes.
