Job summary

Privia Medical Group is seeking a Coding Compliance Audit & Education Specialist to join their team. In this role, you will conduct audits and provide essential education to providers to ensure compliance with federal coding regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS coding, alongside relevant certifications. The position offers a salary range of $70,000.00 to $80,000.00, with eligibility for an annual bonus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of audit and provider education experience is preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes and guidelines.
• Must comply with all HIPAA rules and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits comparing medical record documentation to coding.
• Prepare audit reports including summary of findings.
• Provide education and training regarding documentation guidelines.

Skills

Extensive knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and HCPCS codes and guidelines

Excellent communication skills

Ability to work independently

Education

Certified Professional Coder (CPC)

Certified Professional Medical Auditor (CPMA)

5+ years of audit and provider education experience
