Job summary

Privia Health, LLC is seeking a Coding Compliance Audit & Education Specialist to audit medical records for compliance with federal coding regulations and provide expert education to providers. The role requires CPC certification, extensive CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS knowledge, and experience auditing and educating providers.

Qualifications

Audits medical records to ensure compliance with CPT/ICD-10/HCPCS rules.
Strong knowledge of federal and state coding regulations and guidelines.
CPC is required; CPMA preferred.
HIPAA compliance is mandatory.
Excellent communication and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Conduct baseline, routine and focused audits comparing documentation to codes.
Research and interpret CMS/Medicare laws and guidelines.
Serve as internal coding expert to ensure regulatory compliance.
Prepare audit reports with findings summaries.
Deliver post-audit education to providers and groups.
Schedule trainings with provider offices and groups.
Provide feedback, education, and technical support on coding principles.
