Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking a Finance – Revenue Cycle professional to support auditing of provider clinical documentation and EM coding. The role develops and presents coding and documentation education for providers and performs charge audits for accurate reporting to third-party payers.

The candidate will lead audit programs, collaborate with EPIC hosting and RCM vendors, and train cross-functional teams to improve reimbursement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Eight years’ experience in physician/provider coding, auditing and education.
• Two years’ EPIC EMR experience.
• Coding certification (CCS/RHIA/RHIT) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform charge audits and ensure correct ICD-10/CPT coding.
• Educate providers on documentation improvement and billing practices.
• Develop audit programs for new and existing providers.
• Collaborate with EPIC hosting and RCM vendors on process changes.
• Monitor CPT/HCPCS changes and ensure compliant revenue codes.
