Job summary

OptumCare is seeking a Medical Assistant II to provide expanded clinical support and help optimize patient flow. You will assist clinicians, manage scheduling, and help resolve patient concerns in a fast-paced environment.

Required 3+ years in a clinical setting; HS diploma or GED required, with bachelor/associate degree potentially substituting for one year of experience. Strong documentation and team collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a clinical setting with at least one as a Medical Assistant.
• High School/GED; higher degree can substitute for one year of experience.

Responsibilities

• Identify and resolve patient satisfaction and flow concerns.
• Manage patient flow, scheduling, and access for clinicians.
• Coordinate clinicians' schedules and care delivery to maximize time.
• Handle requests and communications; monitor messages and inquiries.
• Participate in care improvement activities and staff onboarding.
