Variety Care is seeking a Medical Assistant Senior to support multiple clinic sites with independent clinical duties and accurate documentation. You will administer immunizations, collect specimens, and assist during high-volume periods while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Medical Assistant Certification or 1+ year of equivalent experience.
• Experience across more than one service line with independent workflow management.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• CPR course completion within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15%+ within state between clinics.
• Proficient data entry and typing skills.
• HIPAA confidentiality knowledge.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs clinical intake duties with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates proficiency across multiple service lines (e.g., Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Behavioral health).
• Accurately documents patient information in the EMR in a timely manner.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction with proper documentation.
• Collects and processes specimens according to protocols.
• Applies clinical policies to support patient safety and efficiency.
• Uses EMR tools to support clinic flow and care delivery.
• Communicates with patients, providers, and team members to coordinate care.
• Floats between clinics as needed to maintain operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
