Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification or 1+ year of equivalent experience.
• Experience across more than one service line and independently manage clinical workflows.
• Proficient MA core competencies.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15%+ within state between clinics.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs clinical intake duties and manages assigned workflows with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates proficiency across more than one service line (e.g., Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women's Health, Psych) as assigned.
• Accurately measures, records, and documents patient information in the EMR, ensuring completeness and timeliness.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction, including VIS review, OSIIS updates, and accurate EMR documentation.
• Collects and processes specimens following established protocols and quality standards.
• Applies clinical policies, procedures, and standards to support patient safety and efficient clinic operations.
• Interfaces with patients and team members to support coordinated care.
• Adapt to workflow changes and assist during high-volume periods.
• Accepts feedback and coaching to improve performance.
• May float within or between clinics to maintain continuity.
• Supports accreditation and care principles to reduce costs and improve outcomes.
