Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification or one (1)+ year of equivalent experience.
• Experience across more than one service line and independently manage assigned clinical workflows.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• CPR certification within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15% or more within state between clinics.
• Proficient data entry and typing.
• Knowledge of lab point of care testing instrumentation as directed, within 90 days.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and Variety Care policy.
• Effective communication with patients, providers and team in a fast-paced environment.

Aufgaben

• Independently performs clinical intake duties and manages assigned workflows with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates proficiency across multiple service lines (Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Psych) as assigned.
• Accurately records patient information in the EMR with completeness and timeliness.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction with VIS review and proper EMR documentation.
• Collects and processes specimens following established protocols and quality standards.
• Applies policies and procedures to support patient safety and clinic efficiency.
• Utilizes EMR functionality to improve clinic flow and care documentation.
• Communicates with patients, providers, and team to support coordinated care.
• Floats within/between clinics as needed to maintain operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
