Variety Care seeks a Medical Assistant Sr to perform advanced clinical intake, immunizations, specimen collection, and EMR documentation across multiple service lines such as Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Psych. Independently managing workflows, you’ll support efficient clinic operations with minimal supervision.

You will contribute to care coordination, ensure HIPAA compliance, and adapt to high-volume periods while maintaining accuracy and patient safety.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Medical Assistant certification or 1+ year equivalent experience required.
• Experience across multiple service lines and ability to independently manage clinical workflows.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• CPR certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15% or more within state between clinics.
• Proficient in confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Proficiency with EMR and data entry.

• Independently performs clinical intake duties and manages workflows with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates proficiency across multiple service lines as assigned.
• Accurately documents patient information in the EMR with timeliness.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction with proper documentation.
• Collects and processes specimens following established protocols.
• Applies clinical policies to support patient safety and efficient operations.
• Utilizes EMR features to support clinic flow and care delivery.
• Displays attention to detail and escalates discrepancies appropriately.
• Communicates effectively with patients, providers, and team members.
• Supports clinic operations during high-volume periods and adapts to workflow changes.
• Accepts feedback and incorporates coaching to improve performance.
• May float within/between clinics to maintain business continuity.
• Supports accreditation efforts and aligns with Quintuple Aim goals.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
