Variety Care Inc. is seeking a Medical Assistant Sr at Pete White Center in Oklahoma City, OK. This full-time, day-shift role supports Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, and Psych services with independent clinical duties and accurate EMR documentation.

You will administer immunizations, collect specimens, and contribute to safe, efficient clinic operations while maintaining HIPAA compliance and strong patient communication. Travel across clinics within the state may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Medical Assistant Certification or equivalent experience.
• Experience across more than one service line and the ability to independently manage assigned clinical workflows with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Medical Assistant core competencies.
• CPR must be completed and passed within 90 days of employment.
• Ability to travel 15% or more within state between clinics.
• Proficient computer skills, including data entry and typing.
• Knowledge of instrumentation used in lab point of care testing as directed within 90 days.
• Maintain confidentiality of information per HIPAA and Variety Care policy.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment.

Responsabilidades

• Independently performs clinical intake duties and manages workflows with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates proficiency across more than one service line (Family Medicine, Pediatrics, Women’s Health, Psych) as assigned.
• Records patient information accurately in the EMR with completeness and timeliness.
• Administers immunizations under provider direction and documents in EMR.
• Collects and processes specimens following protocols and quality standards.
• Supports patient safety and clinic efficiency by applying policies and procedures.
• Utilizes EMR features to support clinic flow and accurate documentation.
• Communicates with patients, providers, and staff to coordinate care.
• Floats within/between clinics to maintain operations during high-volume periods.
• Supports accreditation efforts and upholds Variety Care safety and care standards.
