Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant III to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, coordinate care, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

The role requires 3+ years of credentialed MA experience, high school diploma or GED, and CPR certification. This is a full-time, on-site position in Southeast Michigan with opportunities for growth and ongoing

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid CPR certification required.
• 3+ years of credentialed MA experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex patient care issues alongside providers.
• Serve as MA preceptor for new and existing MAs.
• Update procedure manuals and manage workflows.
• Function as system superuser.
• Collect and document patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and act as liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
