Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in the United States is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant III to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care.

You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day while serving as a preceptor for new and existing MAs. Join a mission-driven team focused on excellence in care and patient satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with CPR certification.
• Completion of an approved MA program and externship.
• Minimum 3+ years as credentialed MA (MA III).

Responsibilities

• Assists provider with more complex patient care issues.
• Serves as MA preceptor for new and existing MAs.
• Updates procedure manual and creates and manages workflows.
• Functions as system superuser.
• Collects and documents patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist providers with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better health outcomes.
• Coordinate care and serve as a liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
