Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate Medical Assistant III to support providers in delivering exceptional patient care. You will work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CPR certification.
• MA program and externship or related credentialing programs.
• MA certification or active credential in MA field.

Responsibilities

• Assist with complex patient care issues.
• Precept and mentor other MAs.
• Update procedures and manage workflows.
• Collect patient histories and vital signs.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Coordinate care between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
