Trinity Health IHA Medical Group in Michigan seeks a compassionate Medical Assistant III to support providers, assist with exams and procedures, and help coordinate patient care. Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CPR certification required.
• Completion of approved MA program/externship or equivalent.
• MA credential through CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years as credentialed MA with required skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist provider with complex patient care issues.
• Serve as MA preceptor for new and existing MAs.
• Update procedure manual and manage workflows; function as system superuser.
• Collect and document patient histories, vitals, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing as directed.
• Communicate test results and instructions to patients.
• Provide patient and family education to support better outcomes.
• Coordinate care and liaison between patients and providers.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
