Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience as a credentialed MA.
• High School Diploma or GED and valid CPR.
• MA program and externship, or MA internship, or EMT/Paramedic, or Athletic Trainer.
• Credentialed MA with CMA/RMA/NCMA/CCMA/NRCMA/CMAC credentials.

Responsibilities

• Assist with more complex patient care issues.
• Serve as MA preceptor for new and existing MAs.
• Update procedure manuals and manage workflows.
• Function as system superuser.
• Collect patient histories, vital signs, and health information.
• Assist with exams, procedures, testing, and specimen collection.
• Administer medications and perform diagnostic testing.
• Communicate test results and provider instructions to patients.
• Provide patient education and coordinate care.
• Support quality improvement initiatives and disease management programs.
