Job Summary

As a Sr. Media Planner, you will act as a liaison between the Sales (pre-sale) and Media Activation & Account Management (post-sale) functions for Digilant clients. You will be pivotal in developing strategic partnerships, driving upsell opportunities, securing renewals, and planning effective digital media campaigns. This position requires you to participate in the day-to-day planning and analysis while maintaining strong relationships with media vendors, clients, and partner agencies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Craft proposals and media plans for digital media campaigns across various channels including Display, Online Video, Native/High Impact, CTV/OTT, Audio, DOOH/OOH and more.
  • Develop competitive pricing for proposals to maximize campaign performance.
  • Determine optimal media mix (channel, tactical mix and vendor incorporation) and extract relevant segments and impression avails in DSPs such as TTD, Microsoft, Google DV360, Amazon AAP, Lasso, AdsWizz, Vistar, illumin to set up campaigns for success.
  • Work alongside Paid Search & Social teams on omnichannel proposals for performance reporting and budget allocation for assigned accounts.
  • Align Digilant’s offerings with advertisers' objectives to story-tell and drive strategic partnerships.
  • Create persuasive proposal decks and collaborate on custom marketing materials.
  • Address client queries during the proposal phase to help secure contracts.
  • Work closely with Digilant’s preferred data, attribution, brand study/lift and PMP partners to include in RFP strategy.
  • Collaborate with Media Activation & Account Management teams to craft compelling renewal proposals.
  • Present recommendations, POVs, and select analyses to clients.

Operational Excellence

  • Track and monitor RFP, RFI, and insights submissions.
  • Manage timelines and communications for deliverables ensuring timely execution.
  • Support sales team on client calls ensuring detailed follow-ups.
  • Maintain and update internal resources such as Confluence/Wiki pages and Google Drive.

Analytical & Research Skills

  • Prepare detailed post-campaign reports to demonstrate campaign success and insights.
  • Utilize research platforms like Global Web Index, SEM Rush, Statista, eMarketer, SimilarWeb, Pathmatics, and Vivvix for data-driven campaign planning.
  • Conduct competitive analysis using digital media tools and resources.
  • Familiarity and/or experience with campaign management, media buying, and/or strategic and media planning.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, delivering both internal and external needs.
  • Extremely detail oriented and organized.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Passion and aptitude for learning new concepts quickly.
  • Strong communication skills – both written and verbal.
  • Positive and enthusiastic attitude with the ability to build strong client and internal relationships.
  • Competitive spirit; desire to rally towards team goals.
  • Team player approach; ability to effectively communicate with internal teams to deliver on client needs.
  • Excited to keep up with the latest progress and trends in ad tech.
  • Experienced with Microsoft PowerPoint & Excel, Salesforce, Confluence/Wiki.

Preferred Work Experience

  • 4+ years of media planning experience, with a strong background in omnichannel and digital media.
  • Agency experience is highly preferred.
  • Experience evaluating and recommending strategy and placements for digital campaigns.
  • Proficiency with various ad servers/DSPs is a plus.
  • Ad Operations experience not required, but a plus
