Job summary

GES is seeking an experienced Release and Deployment Lead for on-site work at Fort Meade, MD to oversee software updates via MECM/Intune and coordinate a team of at least 12 personnel. The role requires DoD Secret or higher clearance and close collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include deployment planning, patching, end-user support, and performance tuning of MECM/Intune across on-prem and cloud contexts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of prior relevant experience.
• Experience managing client and server system engineering resources.
• Expertise in multiple complex work assignments with originality in problem solving.
• Ability to operate with latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Group Policy.
• Must have a DoD IAT II (Sec+) or higher.
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell.
• Experience troubleshooting issues in a Cloud and On-Prem environment.
• Collaboration with MECM/Intune deployment teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, and deploy software updates using MECM/Intune Management Console.
• Patch servers and workstations from MECM and Intune.
• Remotely log into end users' endpoints to perform configuration and maintenance actions.
• Provide support, troubleshooting and maintenance; distinguish isolated user problems.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MECM/Intune client agent health and optimize collection management.
• Guide strategy, engineering, design, and project management for MECM and Intune.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint hardware and software problems for multi-user devices.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to resolve incident tickets and requirements.
• Establish availability and capacity management using MECM/Intune lessons learned.
