Job summary

Global-Enterprise-Services,-LL seeks an experienced Release and Deployment Lead to join the Defense Enclave Services (DES) team at Fort Meade, MD. The role oversees 12+ staff, interfaces with leadership, and drives robust MECM and Intune deployments in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities include deploying software updates, coordinating cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior staff, with a requirement for active DoD clearance. On-site role with potential end date considerations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience managing client and server system engineering resources.
• Experience with scripting/automation using PowerShell or similar.
• Familiarity with Active Directory/Group Policy.
• Active DoD Secret clearance (or higher) required before start.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing and supervising a minimum of 12 personnel.
• Interface between the team and leadership; provide input on management activities.
• Prepare, test, and deploy software updates using MECM/Intune Management Console.
• Patch servers and workstations via MECM and Intune.
• Coordinate with customers and stakeholders to prioritize requirements and resolve incidents.
• Guide strategy, engineering, design, and project management for MECM and Intune.
• Troubleshoot complex endpoint hardware/software issues for multi-user platforms.
• Mentor Software Packagers in problem resolution and complex issues.
