Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. in Edwardsville, IL is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot automated systems, and mentor technicians within a highly automated facility serving a major online retailer.

You will install, repair, and optimize MHE and robotic systems, manage preventative maintenance, and coordinate with automation support teams to maintain uptime and safety. Strong PLC, electrical knowledge, and CMMS experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with CMMS and vendor management.
• Experience with PLCs and control concepts.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors, and actuators.
• Lead emergency repairs and mentor technicians.
• Create and close out work orders in a CMMS.
• Cultivate positive working relationships with client and operations teams.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
