Job summary

CBRE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex automated systems, and mentor technicians in a highly automated facility in Sterling Heights, MI.

You will maintain reliability and uptime of critical equipment, collaborate with Automation support teams, and ensure safety and quality across operations. Required: 4+ years with automated conveyors, PLCs, electrical/electronic knowledge, and experience reading schematics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of NEC/industrial electronics.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Repair and maintain MHE and robotic systems to ensure uptime.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and maintain relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians and develop work plans.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Foster strong relationships with client and operations teams.
