Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support maintenance of critical building systems at a client facility in the United States. You will lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and automated systems, and mentor technicians to ensure reliability and uptime.

The role requires hands-on experience with automated conveyors, PLCs, and CMMS, plus strong problem-solving and safety focus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM & safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and NEC.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistical equipment to run metrics like OEE/Up Time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotics.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Lead and mentor work plan for emergency repairs and training of technicians.
• Create and close out work orders in a CMMS.
• Build positive relationships with the Client and Operations team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
