Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support maintenance and operation of critical building systems at a client facility. You will lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure equipment reliability and uptime in a highly automated environment.

You will provide technical direction, mentor technicians, and collaborate with Automation support teams to uphold safety, quality, and operational standards. Strong PLC, MHE, and CMMS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Knowledge of NEC and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and mentor technicians.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automated systems to ensure uptime.
• Repair and improve Materials Handling Equipment and robotic systems.
• Audit and lead preventative maintenance procedures.
• Document work in a CMMS and manage maintenance plans.
• Collaborate with client and operations teams to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
