Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex automated systems, and mentor technicians within a highly automated client facility. You will ensure equipment reliability and uptime while upholding safety and quality standards.

The role requires 4+ years with automated conveyors and controls, PLC experience, and CMMS familiarity. Strong problem-solving and leadership abilities are essential for success in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical principles and NEC.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics.
• Experience with PLCs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistical equipment to run OEE/uptime metrics.
• Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs and climb stairs/lad der s.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems across the facility.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors and actuators.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and technician training.
• Create and close work orders in CMMS.
• Build positive relationships with client and maintenance teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
