Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support maintenance of critical building systems at a client facility.

The role leads shift operations, troubleshoots automated systems, and ensures uptime. You will mentor technicians, partner with Automation support teams, and uphold safety and quality in a highly automated environment. Experience with conveyors, PLCs, CMMS, and reading schematics is valued.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
• High school diploma or GED
• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, or industrial electronics
• Ability to conduct preventative and procedure-based maintenance
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics
• Experience with PLC programs
• 3+ years of work order management
• Ability to use statistics equipment to run metrics such as OEE/Up Time
• Ability to solve problems and follow standard instructions
• Ability to move up to 50lbs and climb stairs/ladders

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems throughout the facility
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair and training for technicians
• Build and close out work orders in a CMMS
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and Operations Maintenance teams
• Perform other job-related duties as needed
