Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot automated systems, and maintain equipment reliability in a highly automated facility for a major client.

You will mentor technicians, collaborate with Automation support teams, and ensure safety, quality, and uptime in line with CBRE's standards. The role requires hands-on expertise and leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with computers and MS Office.
• Experience with CMMS.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic principles and NEC.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to move up to 50 lbs.
• Authorized to work in United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of materials handling equipment (MHE) and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repair and training of technicians.
• Build and close out work orders in a CMMS.
• Cultivate positive relationships with client and operations teams.
• Perform other duties as needed.
