Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to lead shift operations, troubleshoot advanced automated systems, and mentor technicians within a highly automated client facility in the United States. You will ensure equipment reliability, safety, and uptime while collaborating with Automation support teams.

The role requires experience with conveyors, robotics, PLCs, and CMMS, plus strong problem-solving skills and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety guidelines.
• Knowledge of electrical principles, NEC, and industrial electronics.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistical equipment to track OEE/uptime.
• Ability to follow procedures for routine maintenance and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead shift operations and mentor technicians.
• Repair, maintain, and improve MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, and control components.
• Lead and mentor work planning for emergency repairs and training.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive client and operations team relationships.
• Perform other duties as needed.
