Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is seeking a Senior Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to support maintenance and operation of critical building systems at a client facility. You will lead shift operations, troubleshoot complex automated systems, and mentor technicians to uphold safety and quality in a highly automated environment.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• High school diploma or GED.
• 4+ years experience with automated conveyors and controls.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with MHE safety standards per OEM and safety standards.
• Knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, NEC, or industrial electronics.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance.
• Experience reading blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with PLC programs.
• 3+ years of work order management.
• Ability to use statistics to run metrics like OEE/Up Time.
• Ability to follow general instructions in routine scenarios.
• Physical ability to move up to 50 lbs and handle stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
• Repair, maintain, and improve functionality of MHE and robotic systems.
• Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, sensors.
• Lead and mentor work plans for emergency repairs and technician training.
• Create and close out work orders in CMMS.
• Foster positive relationships with the Client and Operations team.
• Perform other job-related duties as needed.
