The Boeing Company in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Senior or Experienced Mechanism Design Engineer to support Proprietary Advanced Weapons Programs.

You will lead mechanical systems design and collaborate across disciplines to meet DoD requirements with safety, reliability and performance at the forefront. Responsibilities include developing, documenting and validating mechanical components, performing system simulations, and coordinating with suppliers to achieve program goals.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace Aeronautical or Material Sciences.
• 5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (must be active or recently active). Must be able to obtain Special Program Access.

Aufgaben

• Support the development and documentation of mechanical systems and thermal environment requirements to establish the system design.
• Support the development, maintenance or modification of system, component and installation designs/proposals to provide design documentation to downstream groups.
• Perform and document system performance using computational analysis tools to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements and specifications.
• Perform detail design development of mechanical system installations.
• Contribute to supplier development, test and production activities and direct the supplier to optimize integration and achieve program goals.
• Prepare technical documents for mechanical components and systems.
• Support system components’ design/proposals standards to provide installation and detail documentation.
