Job summary

engineeringjobs.net, Inc. is seeking a lead mechanical/structural design engineer to steer concepts through prototype testing and production release.

You will collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams, support hands-on builds, and rapidly resolve design issues to meet demanding performance and reliability targets. The role requires a BS in Mechanical Engineering, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency in Creo, GD&T, and structural analyses.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Minimum seven years of mechanical engineering experience.
Proficiency with Creo CAD, structural design, GD&T, and engineering documentation.
Experience supporting prototypes and product development, with structural or stress analysis.
Defense or aerospace program experience; familiarity with military standards valuable.

Responsibilities

Lead mechanical and structural design from concept through prototype testing and production release.
Collaborate across engineering and manufacturing teams and support hands-on builds and testing.
Resolve design issues to meet performance, reliability, and production requirements.
