Job summary

The Boeing Company in Huntsville, AL is seeking a Mechanical Systems Design & Analysis Engineer (Experienced or Lead) to join the Integrated Design Engineering team. You will develop mechanical designs, perform analyses, and lead engineering activities across the IAMD portfolio.

The role requires obtaining a US Security Clearance; interim/final Secret clearance is required after start. You will work with NX/Creo CAD models and MBEDD processes within a dynamic defense environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with a focus on Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials Sciences
• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience
• Knowledge of aerospace structure, materials strengths and properties, design criteria and loading conditions
• Ability to collect, organize, analyze data and derive conclusions
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment and deliver high-quality products

Responsibilities

• Develop and document mechanical designs and analyses, including data packages and test plans
• Support production activities and supplier development
• Lead and mentor other mechanical engineers
• Validate mechanical and fluid systems to meet requirements
• Prepare and maintain design documentation and drawings
• Coordinate with cross-functional groups to drive improvements
