Job summary

The Boeing Company in the St. Louis area is seeking Experienced or Senior Mechanical System Design Engineers to develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems using 3-D CAD tools. These positions support current and emerging aircraft programs in the Air Dominance division and will be located at Berkeley, Hazelwood, St.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Aerospace, Aeronautical or Materials Sciences).
• Level 3: 5+ years related experience or equivalent
• Level 4: 9+ years related experience or equivalent
• Experience using NX / Teamcenter and familiarity with reading 2-D drawings
• Ability to obtain US Government security clearance (Citizenship required) and interim/final clearance post-start.
• Some roles may require Special Program Access and US Citizenship only.

Responsibilities

• Develop, integrate and document air vehicle subsystems requirements to establish the system design.
• Develop, maintain and modify air vehicle subsystems and component designs for product definition across lifecycle.
• Lead performance, integration and analysis of tests to validate and verify systems and components meet requirements.
• Manage supplier development, test and production activities and coordinate with suppliers to optimize design.
• Assist with investigation of emerging technologies to develop concepts for future product designs.
• Work under minimal direction.
