Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a Lead Mechanical Superintendent to lead field execution for simple/combined cycle power projects. You will direct craft, subcontractors, foremen and engineers to ensure safe, efficient mechanical work aligned with project requirements.

The role emphasizes coordination across gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, piping and rotating equipment, with a strong focus on productivity, safety and turnover readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years experience as a Superintendent or Construction Manager on equivalent projects.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical field execution for combined/single cycle projects ensuring safe, high-quality installation.
• Provide day-to-day direction to craft, subcontractors, foremen and field engineers.
• Coordinate installation of gas/steam turbines, HRSGs, piping and rotating equipment.
• Monitor progress against CPM schedule and milestones; report variances.
• Mentor discipline superintendents and field leaders; support safety, quality and turnover readiness.
