Job summary

Bechtel is seeking a senior Mechanical Construction Superintendent to lead field activities on a major 1.3 GW power project in the USA. You will supervise underground and above-ground piping, rotating equipment, tanks, and balance-of-plant systems, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.

You will coordinate with Field Engineering, QA/QC, Logistics, vendors, and commissioning teams, directing craft crews and subcontractors to meet milestones and turnover requirements.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree and 10–13 years of relevant experience or 14–17 years of relevant work experience.
• Large EPC industrial or power project construction experience.
• Experience with piping systems, rotating equipment, and static equipment installation.

Responsibilities

• Provides overall field leadership and execution oversight for mechanical construction activities.
• Supervises craft activities, direct hire crews, and area superintendents.
• Schedules work and reviews progress for multiple crafts to meet milestones.
• Determines workforce requirements and coordinates operational plans.
• Oversees tools, equipment, safety, quality, and turnover processes.
