Job summary

Selectek in Crestview, FL seeks a Superintendent to plan, coordinate and supervise mechanical craft activities on large-scale data center projects. You will lead electricians, plumbers, sheet metal workers, and related trades, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and quality outcomes.

You must have at least 8 years of supervisory experience in facility construction, a strong mechanical background, and the ability to travel 70%+.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years supervisory experience in facility construction.
• Strong mechanical background on Data Center projects (or large-scale projects).
• Advanced understanding of construction scheduling and cost control.
• Experience with Commercial/Industrial projects valued at $50M+.
• US driver’s license and willingness to travel ~70%.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise Equipment Start Up and Commissioning processes.
• Coordinate crafts and departments to meet schedules and draw from resources.
• Maintain liaison with Material Control, Purchasing, QC, and Engineering.
• Coordinate work with other contractors and crafts.
• Assist Labor Relations in communications with unions and staffing strategies.
• Monitor safety program compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams to ensure drawings and specs meet.
