Job summary
JLL is seeking a Lead Engineer, Data Centers, to oversee critical facility operations across data center environments in Amarillo/Claude, TX. You will lead technical teams, coordinate maintenance, and drive reliability and efficiency in power, cooling and network systems.
You will partner with engineers and management to ensure safety, regulatory compliance and timely capacity upgrades, while reporting on performance and incidents.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in data center operations.
- Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure and standards.
- Experience with safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Proven leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Proficiency with facility management software.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Professional Engineer license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee data center facility operations and maintenance.
- Lead technical staff and contractors.
- Monitor critical systems: power, cooling, network.
- Develop preventive maintenance schedules.
- Coordinate capacity planning and upgrade projects.
- Respond to incidents and generate RCA reports.
- Prepare management and client reports.
- Ensure safety, security and regulatory compliance.
