Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own project budgets, schedules, procurement plans, and client relationships to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in PM for commercial construction, with strong HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP knowledge, and familiarity with Procore and BIM/VDC coordination.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in commercial construction, MEP, or GC environments.
• Strong understanding of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP systems.
• Experience delivering projects from preconstruction through closeout on time and on budget.
• Proven ability to manage RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction to turnover.
• Develop execution strategies, schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and milestones.
• Coordinate PM, field operations, engineering, procurement and other internal teams.
• Maintain ownership of project performance and ensure milestones are met.
