Job summary

Vertical Mechanical Group is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will own schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The ideal candidate combines 5+ years in PM for commercial/mechanical contracting with strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP systems. Procore and BIM coordination experience is valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years in PM for commercial construction.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, piping, and MEP.
• Ability to manage projects from preconstruction through closeout.
• Experience with budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, procurement and contract administration.
• Experience with RFIs, submittals, change orders, and cost controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial mechanical construction projects from preconstruction to turnover.
• Establish goals, schedules, budgets, procurement plans and execution strategies.
• Coordinate activities across PM, field ops, VDC, Engineering, Procurement and internal teams.
• Maintain ownership of project performance and contractual milestones.
• Identify challenges early and develop solutions to keep projects moving.
